Quan Yin II
Quan Yin is the Buddhist Goddess of Compassion and Loving Kindness. She is one of the best-known female bodhisattvas. Her name derives from the word ‘Guanshiyin’ which means “observing the sounds (or cries) of the world.“
She holds a vessel of water (dew of compassion) that represents the quality of removing suffering while purifying our bodies, speech and mind.
From Rodika Tchi, feng shui expert, “The essence of Quan Yin’s energy is akin to the energy a mother feels for her child—it is fiercely loving and protective…Quan Yin is called for when one is in trouble or just for protection and well-being. A great protector and benefactor, her heart is full of deep compassion and unconditional love.”
