We shop for ikat fabric outside of Ubud. After each vivid fabric is carefully chosen, we meet with a seamstress who works across the street from my friend Suparta, in Ubud. We analyze the pattern to create the perfectly shaped pillow dimensions that highlight the beauty of the fabric design. Each pillow was then handmade to these specifications.
